Here at Yoder Barns, we offer a 5-year Workmanship Warranty on our buildings. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality and durability of our structures. Each building is crafted with precision and care, ensuring it meets our high standards and your expectations. Our commitment to excellence means you can trust that your investment is protected, allowing you to enjoy your new space worry-free.

Clarity and Common Sense: Honest Limitations

Our warranty is a commitment to the quality of our craft and materials, but it requires your partnership to ensure the structure lasts a lifetime.

Important Exclusions to Note:

The Significance of a Solid Foundation: A structure’s integrity relies heavily on its base. The warranty stipulates that your building must sit on a properly prepared and level pad, such as crushed stone or concrete. Any issues stemming from an inadequate or shifting foundation are not covered. Ongoing Maintenance: Regular upkeep, including painting, ensuring the structure remains level, and keeping vegetation clear of the building, is crucial for its longevity and falls under the owner’s responsibility. Normal Wear and Tear: All outdoor products will naturally show signs of aging, including expected cosmetic changes such as the weathering of wood or paint fading. Acts of God and Accidents: Damage caused by uncontrollable events (like tornadoes, flooding, fires, falling trees, or impacts) is not covered under our warranty but is generally addressed by homeowner’s insurance. Unauthorized Modifications or Misuse: Changes made to the structure post-delivery or damage resulting from misuse can void the warranty. Contents: Our warranty applies solely to the structure itself, not to any contents stored within it.

Resolution Steps

If the issue pertains to a defect in our workmanship covered by our 5-Year Limited Warranty , we will repair the defect at no cost to you.

If the issue involves a Manufacturer Warranty (such as siding or roofing), the claim will be handled directly by the manufacturer. We will provide the necessary documentation and information to assist you in filing a claim with them.

All of our buildings:

are built on pressure-treated 4″x4″ skids, either 12″ or 16″ on center
have LP Prostruct Flooring with Smartfinish
have aluminum sill plates
have studs that are 16″ on center walls & rafters
have LP SmartSide Panel Siding With SilverTech on the walls
have seamless gable ends
have LP TechShield roof sheathing
have a double top plate (To assist intersection walls in locking together for roof truss load support.)
have synthetic felt paper
have GAF 30-year warranty shingles (unless you opt for Metal)
have a color-matching drip edge
have LP Trim on corners, and around the doors & windows
have 6″ Black Decorative Hinges (unless otherwise specified)
have a locking T-handle
have Gable Vents on each end
have a choice of window color (white or black)
